Protect Your Kids — Follow The New Booster Seat Law

A couple of weeks ago I warned about the dangers of young children riding in cars without booster seats and the upcoming law requiring their use for many kids.  Well, today’s the day.  Starting today, all children who are under 8, unless they are already 4’9″ tall, have to use a booster seat.

As you might expect, some of the news stations ran stories about the new law.  KXAN had a particularly good story, which is below.

Our firm has handled thousands of claims arising out of auto accidents and truck crashes, and we can tell you first hand about the problems of kids not being properly restrained in car seats.  Despite your kids’ constant requests to not have to be in a car or booster seat, please protect them.

If you or a loved one has been injured by another, order our free book, HOLDING WRONGDOERS ACCOUNTABLE: Avoiding Mistakes That Can Ruin Your Texas Accident Claim.  We’re on a mission to make sure that insurance companies and other lawyers don’t take advantage of accident victims, and a lot of the advice in the book is designed to prevent that from happening.
