Trucking Accidents

Austin Tractor Trailer Accident Lawyer

Each year over 500,000 tractor trailers or “semis” are involved in auto accidents. These trucking accidents often result in serious or catastrophic injuries or fatalities.

The causes of these accidents are varied. A number of of semi wrecks are caused by driver fatigue. Federal regulations govern the number of hours that truckers are allowed to work. But the temptation to keep working is too strong, and many trucking companies encourage truckers to keep a separate trucking log or alter records to avoid being limited by the regulations.

Many other trucking accidents are caused by the use of alcohol or other illegal substances. Again, federal regulations govern these areas, but far too often, trucking companies skirt those rules.

If you or a loved one has sustained serious personal injuries from a tractor trailer accident, please call us or fill out the “quick case inquiry” form on this website.
