Brooks Schuelke has successfully handled numerous civil litigation matters since 1995. Brooks has also written or edited articles about litigation issues and has served on numerous Austin Young Lawyers Association, Travis County Bar Association and Texas Young Lawyers Association public service committees. In addition, he is currently the president of the board of directors for the Wild Basin Wilderness Preserve. Brooks graduated from the prestigious University of Texas Business Honors Program in 1992 and received his J.D. with honors from the University of Texas School of Law in 1995. In his spare time, Brooks enjoys spending time with his family and attending University of Texas athletic events.

Mark Perlmutter is a Certified Civil Trial Lawyer with over 25 years’ experience. He has successfully represented myriad plaintiffs in legal malpractice, personal injury and other civil trial matters, as well as representing numerous clients in class action cases. A professional trial consultant, Mark trains other lawyers and law students in persuasion, trial tactics, and professional ethics. He has served as president of the Travis County Bar Association, Volunteer Legal Services of Central Texas, and the Austin Young Lawyers Association, as well as chairing the State Bar of Texas Professionalism Committee. Mark is also an experienced mediator and an adjunct professor at the University of Texas Law School. He also co-produced Lifetime Television’s Scared Silent, a movie based on one of his cases and wrote the acclaimed Why Lawyers (and the rest of us) Lie and Engage in Other Repugnant Behavior. He received his B.S. in public address and group communication from Northwestern University in 1971 and his J.D. from the University of Texas in 1974. Mark is a cooking, wine, fitness and audio enthusiast.
